Sutter Strings

Sutter Strings is a year-long afterschool program offered completely free of charge where students of all levels can learn to play a stringed instrument. The club is led by retired Sutter orchestra teacher Ms. Vigil. Instruments are provided to participants who do not have their own. The only requirement is a commitment to show up every week on time and to practice at home between lessons. The intermediate group for those who have at least one year of experience. The Beginning group is for those who have never played an instrument before. The orchestra will perform later in the season to show what they have learned.
