Have you ever wanted to communicate with deaf people, but didn’t
know how? If so, join the ASL Club! You will learn the
ABCs, numbers and basic common everyday signs through games and
activities. You will also learn about the Deaf Culture as
well. It will be a fun place to meet and learn something new, a
beautiful language! The goal for the club is that students will
be able to communicate with deaf and hard people like her!
Calling all creative peeps! If you are a doodler, a
painter, a cake decorator, an anime artist or just someone who
loves to make things look cool, Art Club could be the place for
you! Join Art Club and get to know other zany art-y folks,
learn new ways of expressing yourselves and share your ideas and
artwork! You don’t have to have any specific materials or
art making experience, just a willingness to try new things and

BSU means Black Student Union. BSU is something that raises
cultural awareness, promotes and more positive image on black
students and is a safe place where black students can express
their thoughts, opinions, and experiences about racism and
inequality. BSU is an official club at Sutter that makes students
feel comfortable,safe and welcome. Our goals are to empower black
students, educate them on the real history that we DONT learn in
our text books and inspire them to use there voice.

Cheerleading is going virtual! In our cheer club we will be
learning cheers, doing outreach, and having fun! This is a new
club to Sutter since we do not have sports this year. The mission
of our club will evolve as our members see fit.

Come check out the Community Learning Club! Are you looking for a
way to give back? Do you like working with kids? Do you want to
share in the excitement little kids have when learning? We have
some cute little 1st graders who are struggling with their
reading and want help. We are hoping to pair them with an awesome
Sutter buddy, virtually of course, that can help them practice
their reading and do some fun activities. We will be meeting via
zoom Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:30-3pm. Our first meeting will
be Wednesday the 13th and zoom information will be available in
our Google Classroom.

Whether you enjoy experimenting in the kitchen or just want to
learn how to cook, this is the club for you! Each week I
will host a different teacher to share how to make their favorite
meals. We will have Ms. Karlovich on for some science and
cooking with solar, a delicious vegetarian meal with Ms.
Gaynor and barbecuing 101 with Mr. Faeth and Mr. Moreno. I
guarantee Mr. Baradat will share his expertise in the kitchen-
he’s a great chef! Join our cooking club virtual classroom to
have fun and improve your cooking skills.

teenage angst? Then join the Writers Club where you have the
opportunity to work on new writing, finish personal writing

good in every opportunity by spreading kindness and preforming

K-Pop Club welcomes all fans and enthusiasts of Korean Pop
music. From BTS to BigBang, EXO to Wanna One, we wanna you
to come hang with us at lunch! We discuss the latest K-Pop
culture, fashion, music, and dances. All are welcome to
come join the fun!
Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community? If not, would you like
to show your support for people who are? Either way, you
have a place here. This club welcomes people of all genders and
sexualities to engage in open discussion and activism. We provide
a safe space for students to express thoughts, worries and
questions and share advice with peers. Don’t let the fear of
being different hold you back from changing the world! And
remember, you don’t have to “come out” to come out to the club!
Make strides with Sutter this year! Join our running club
and get training schedules for all levels and abilities.
Running is the easiest form of exercise to do right now and
it naturally provides social distancing and improved mood.
Get in shape and build confidence, discipline and work on
your goals with support from Mrs. Brinzer and Mrs. Cooperman as
we train together for a virtual 5k.

Do you love skate boarding, but you have nobody to ride with?
Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just getting started,
join the skate club. The club meets on ZOOM every Friday at
2:30 to discuss the best skate parks/spots and to share
images/videos of cool tricks.
Joining Sutter’s debate team is a great way for your voice to be
heard. Sutter’s team has a long history of
excellence. In the meetings, participants discuss current
events and prepare to compete in tournaments. If you are
the kind of person that wants to debate or would just like to
learn more about public speaking, then this is the place for you.
Sacramento and its surroundings is a great place to explore on
foot. In the Urban Hiking club we will be focused on planning
local hikes and exploring our area. We will also try to get out
and explore some trails and nature areas close to Sacramento.
Parents are encouraged to join us on our walkabouts.
