Good afternoon, Mighty Oak families! As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Spring Sports: Our Spring sports are coming up around the corner. If your child is considering trying out for any sports, they must complete and return all 3 forms (see below) to our main office or you can email them to Natasha-Brown@scusd.edu . All forms must be submitted before your child will be allowed to tryout.

Boys/Girls Soccer, Boys/Girls Golf, Girls Softball, Boys Volleyball sign up using this link 

Track & Field: Information/Sign up meeting on Wednesday, January 17th @ lunch in the gym. Prospective athletes must attend this meeting AND complete this Google form in order to try out.  A make-up meeting will be announced sometime after, if needed.  

Track tryouts will begin Monday, January 29th. Check the Track page on the Miwok MS website for more info. If you have questions about track and field, please contact Coach Bryan Moreno at Bryan-Moreno@scusd.edu .

Looking for 7th Boys Soccer Coach: We currently have a posting for our 7th grade boys soccer coach. If you are interested, please apply and/or contact our athletic director, Christopher Latino, if you have questions.

Air Rock: If you are planning on participating in Air Rock, please submit your group’s application to Mrs. Zarate’s box no later than January 23rd. Remember: only submit one application per group and don’t forget to attach the lyrics to the song. Be on the lookout for audition times and dates posted outside room 111 on Thursday, January 25th. 

SCUSD High School Specialty Program Notification: Families will be notified directly through SchoolMint regarding acceptance based on what preferences they selected when registering (email, text, both) on January 16, 2024. Families can accept or decline on SchoolMint.
