Good afternoon, Mighty Oak families! It was SO FUN cheering on our superstar students at Air Rock!! It was a great night and one of the many reasons why I love it here.

Oaks Got Talent: Interested in showcasing your special talent? Come by room 111 during lunch on February 29th to hear more about this year’s Oaks Got Talent and learn how you can perform in front of the whole school during the Spring Rally.  

Yearbooks: Yearbooks are still for sale! Purchase your yearbook for $45 before they run out. Purchase online at Miwok MS Yearbook Purchase or pay cash to Ms. Payne in main office.

PTSO Fundraiser: Acheson Wine Company will donate a percentage of sales back to a Miwok Middle School the entire month of February! Mention Miwok Middle when purchasing wine for consumption in house or purchase of bottles of wine to go. Click here for the flyer.

8th Grade Discovery Kingdom Field Trip: In looking way ahead to the end of the year, the 8th grade Six Flags Discovery Kingdom trip will be on Tuesday, June 11th. The cost of the trip is $95 per student or $58 w/season pass. Your ticket includes park admission, transportation, and one meal deal package (1 meal voucher, 1 snack voucher and 1 drink voucher). Field trip packets will be available in the main office and our website the beginning of March. Submit both permission slips and payments (cash or money order only) to Ms. Payne in the main office no later than Friday, May 3rd. Parents if you are interested in being a chaperone please email Ms. Payne at  Michele-payne@scusd.edu.
