Good evening, Mighty Oak families! There is no school next week from November 18-26th. As we get ready for one more day before our well-deserved break, I want to express how incredibly grateful I am to have such amazing students, families, and staff. Thank you for all you do to help make our school the best it can be. I hope you are able to relax and enjoy your time over the break!

Pajama Dress up Day: Come to school tomorrow, November 17th in your favorite pajamas! Please be sure your PJ’s are school appropriate!!

FALL-tastic 2023: Our PTSO FALL-tastic fundraising event is happening NOW!! Funds raised from this event will go directly back to our students and our campus. All you need to do is collect donations, and you earn the prizes! Our fundraiser runs until November 30th, so don’t waste any time in getting donations to not only support Miwok Middle School but also to earn yourself new gear!! For students applying to out of district high schools that are requesting I write a letter of recommendation, please fill out this Principal’s questionnaire form and have the letter request sent directly to my email.  

Young Actors Stage: Join the cast of Shrek Jr. at Miwok and be a part of this hilarious modern musical! Cast members will rehearse after school on Fridays, and perform at 24th Street Theater in May. Registration ends November 27! More information and registration atYoungActorsStage.com.

Winter Dance: On Thursday, December 7th, we will host our semi-formal Winter Dance from 5-7pm!! Tickets will go on sale Friday, December 1st $7 cash only in Room 111.

Study Hall: Study Hall is offered Monday- Thursday each week. Mornings in room 215 from 7:35-8:05 and afternoons in room 112 (near the cafeteria) from 2:35-3:35 (M/T/W) and 1:35-2:35 (Thursdays).    

Free Math Tutoring in the Evening: Sac State has a FREE tutoring program called “Math Tutoring Buddies.” They offer one-on-one tutoring via Zoom Monday – Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Math Peer Tutoring: Come by Math Peer Tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch in room 218 (please note new location). 

6th Grade Visitation Days :If you know of any 6th grade families that are interested in attending Miwok Middle School next year, please have them sign up online for one of our visitations. Dates are coming up soon! Here is a link to the flyer.
