Good evening, Mighty Oak families! Yay! It’s finally Winter break! There will be no school for the next 2 weeks. 

Air Rock: If you are planning on participating in Air Rock, please submit your group’s application to Mrs. Zarate’s box no later than January 23rd. Remember: only submit one application per group and don’t forget to attach the lyrics to the song. Be on the lookout for audition times and dates posted outside room 111 on Thursday, January 25th. 

SCUSD High School Specialty Program Notification: The HS Specialty Program lottery is scheduled to run on January 8th, 2024. Families will be notified directly through SchoolMint based on what preferences they selected when registering (email, text, both) on January 16, 2024. Families can accept or decline on SchoolMint.

Upcoming Dates:

• 12/23-1/7 No School- Winter Break
• 1/15 No School- Martin Luther King Jr. Day 
• 1/26 End of Quarter 2 (Minimum Day- Dismissal at 12:18 pm)
