Sutter now has three amazing counselors to assist students and parents with academic, behavioral, social, and emotional concerns. Students are assigned to counselors in the following format:
Last Names A – G: Mr. Lessler (M-TH) & Ms. Carroll (Friday only) [room 102]
Last Names H – O: Mr. Vo (main office)
Last Names P – Z: Ms. Shaffer (main office)
Additionally, families or students that would prefer a Spanish-speaking counselor, regardless of last name, will be assigned to Ms. Shaffer and families that would prefer a Vietnamese-speaking counselor will be assigned to Mr. Vo.

High School Options: Counselors can help with information regarding your neighborhood high school, the High School Specialty Application, visitation events (see Visitation Schedule), high school career pathways and programs, transcripts, recommendations, etc. Call or write to schedule a session where parent(s), student and counselor discuss high school options or other topics of concern.
Parent-Teacher Conference (PTCs are held on Tuesdays at 2:50 or 3:20 PM)– Call to discuss holding a conference
The Academic Talent Search Qualifying Exam will be offered at Sutter on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, to begin at 10:16 AM (during periods 3 and 4) in the Library. The exam costs $15 per student (cash or check written out to Academic Talent Search – due on the test date) – covering test materials, scoring and mailing of test results.
