The RydeFreeRT program offers fare-free transit for youth and
students in grades TK – 12. With RydeFreeRT, youth can ride the
entire SacRT transit network, including SacRT buses, light rail,
and SmaRT Ride on-demand microtransit service. RydeFreeRT is
available all day, any day of the week, and all year long during
regular SacRT service hours. Take it to school, to work, or
anywhere our transit system travels!
At present, the program is set to run for one year from October
1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.
