Good evening Sutter families, this is Cristin Tahara-Martin. This Friday, October 6th we will be honoring breast cancer awareness month. We encourage all students to come dressed in pink. During our lunch activity that day, there will be an opportunity for students to show their support by donating $2 to the Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation. Friday is also make up picture day.

Basketball tryouts will be on Monday, October 9th and Tuesday, October 10th. Make sure to get in all of your sports paperwork prior to tryouts.

Friday, September 22nd, is our green and gold dress up day. 7th graders wear gold and 8th graders wear green. Dress from head to toe in your class color! After school on Friday is the green and gold dance from 2:35-4:35 pm.

For students interested in running cross country, you will meet your coach for practice and an informational meeting tomorrow, September 5th at 3:30 at McKinley Park in front of the pool. Remember, all paperwork for sports participation must be completed prior to being allowed to participate.

Good evening Sutter families, this is Cristin Tahara-Martin. It was great to see so many new faces at our 7th grade orientation. This is just a reminder that the first day of school is on Thursday, August 31st. The entry bell rings at 8:10 and first period will start at 8:18 am. Thursdays are early release days, so dismissal this Thursday will be at 1:32 pm. Please remember to exercise patience during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times and remind your children to be careful if they are riding their bikes and when crossing the street near campus.
Good evening Sutter families, this is Cristin Tahara-Martin, Principal of Sutter Middle School. I hope you are enjoying your summer. We are busy gearing up for the 17/18 school year. Wednesday, August 23rd is our 8th grade locker distribution day and Thursday, August 24th is our 7thgrade locker distribution day. The school will be open by 6 am on those days and locker distribution starts at 8 am. Students must bring a combination lock with them to locker day. Lockers are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
