Club Rush: Come to the quad on
September 29th during lunch to find the club that best fits you.
There are MANY clubs to choose from. Meet the adviser
and see if you want to take advantage of this opportunity for you
to participate at Sutter. There is something for EVERYONE!!
Dine out Night: Our first PTSO dine out
night is with The Federalist Pizza on Thursday, Sept 29th from
5-10pm. They will give $5 back on each pizza sold. Please
mention Sutter so we are sure they know to give us credit!
Basketball Tryouts: Please fill
Google form link if your child is interested in trying
out for one of our basketball teams. Tryouts will begin the
week of October 10th. If you have any questions, please

Please make sure that all 3 sports participation forms (see
below) are submitted PRIOR to tryouts or your child will not be
allowed to tryout. You can submit these forms to our main
office or you can email them
to Natasha-Brown@scusd.edu . Once on file, these
forms will be sufficient for any and all school sports for the
2022-2023 school year.
Make up Picture Day: For those of you that
missed picture day on Monday, make up picture day is on Monday,

raises money to support programs that make Sutter the special
place that it is. This includes purchasing supplies, equipment,
and technology, supporting the amazing school events, and
promoting extracurricular activities for students. 100% of your
donation will go to these programs. Simply fill

PayPal, or our new Sutter Venmo account.

funding levels. Only one application per household is

PSAT 8/9: In looking ahead, all
8th graders will have the opportunity to take the PSAT 8/9 on
October 12th. Students will follow a modified schedule that
day for testing (The start and end times for school will remain
the same). The PSAT 8/9 is a part of the SAT Suite of
Assessments. This test offers an opportunity to establish a
baseline of student knowledge and can be used as a check-in for
college readiness. The content of the test is designed to
assess knowledge and skills most necessary for college and career
success and reflects the work they are already doing in school,
so there is no need for students to study for this test.

Yearbook Cover Contest: Are you an
artist? Do you love to draw? Are you creative?
Participate in the Yearbook Cover (FRONT AND BACK) Contest
and submit your artwork that represents the theme “Stay Golden”!
Imagine this…your artwork can be the one chosen to be on
the front and back cover of the yearbook for all to admire!

guidance as of yesterday, so it now aligns with the face masking
