Good morning, Mighty Oak families! We were planning to have our student vs. staff 3 point contest today as part of our Mighty Oaks Madness fun, but the rain had other plans for us, so we’ll push that to next week. Mr. Harmon and I also spoke to students during their PE class today about behavior expectation reminders, end of the year activity participation requirements, CAASPP testing, and wrapping up the school year. Here is a link to the requirements for participation in end of the year festivities. 

Tomorrow,  Friday, April 5th, will be the last day of the quarter and a minimum day withdismissal at 12:18 pm. Friday will also have a modified schedule to accommodate the 8th grade panoramic photo and rally. Tomorrow is also Green and Gold Dress up Day!! Come to school dressed in as much green and yellow/gold as possible! 8th graders wear green and 7th graders wear yellow/gold!

Spring Dance and Dress up Day: The Spring Dance “Fun in the Sun” will take place on Wednesday, April 10th at 2:35-4:35 pm. Wear your school appropriate beach/island attire to school! Tickets are on sale during lunch. $7 cash only, in Room 111.

CAASPP: Friendly reminder that all students must have a working Chromebook in order to access CAASPP testing that starts on April 26th. If your child has a Chromebook that isn’t working, please make sure they notify the office as soon as possible (outside of class time). Below are the parent notification letters: English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese

Office Hours: The office will be closing at 2:00 pm tomorrow, April 5th. We will resume our regular hours of 7:30-4:00 on Monday, April 8th.
